Refunds

• Sessions may be rescheduled without penalty given twenty–four(24) hours notice
• Sessions that are cancelled with twenty–four(24) hours notice and not rescheduled will be charged a 25% cancellation charge
• Sessions that are not rescheduled or cancelled with twenty–four(24) hours notice are not reimbursed
• E–books and other products are non–refundable
• Quick Response Plan: all unused service time is refunded at anytime upon request without penalty

Payment

• Fee for service is remitted by the prescribed methods identified in “Contact and Payment”
• Fees are always remitted in advance of sessions

No Obligation Guarantee

• There is no fixed plan or agreement verbal, written or otherwise that obligates participation in more than one session
• The person receiving service may decide to terminate participation at any time

Right of Refusal

• Counselors Without Borders reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services based on the following:
• If a counselor is not available to provide services appropriate to specific client issues. In this case, every attempt is made to provide persons with appropriate referrals
• If there is no measurable improvement or improved satisfaction level in the person’s condition over a period of time that is reasonable for change to occur. In this case, every attempt is made to refer elsewhere
• If persons are abusive, threatening, condescending, belligerent or otherwise disrespectful in any way to the service provider
• If persons do not follow through with agreed upon assignments, actions and other activities as part of session work

Quality Assurance

It is the practice of Counselors Without Borders to record all scheduled sessions to:

• Preserve the integrity of person/service provider interactions for situations as may be required (disputes, legal, etc.)
• To ensure service standards of measured quality are met
• To review progress of sessions and to serve as a guide and measure of growth processes
